Acknowledging this once in a lifetime achievement TMJ has taken the liberty to reward Faiz with RM15,000

“It Has No Relation To Speculation Of Him Joining JDT” − TMJ Says Of His RM15,000 Reward To Faiz Subri

It’s no wonder why Penang’s winger Mohd Faiz Subri’s wonder goal has earned him the top three spot of the FIFA 2016 Puskas Award for best goal of the year, as announced by FIFA last Friday.
Beating football greats Lionel Messi and Neymar, the 29-year-old will be the first Malaysian and Asian to make it to the list and will be going up against Daniuska Rodriguez of Venezuela and Brazilian, Johnath Marlone Azevedo da Silva – a result that we can all hold our heads up high for.
Acknowledging this once in a lifetime achievement towards the country, Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim or fondly known as TMJ, has taken the liberty to reward Faiz with RM15,000.
“The reward was a token of appreciation for his success in bringing up the country's name and has no relation to speculation of him joining JDT for next season's M-League challenges,” TMJ claimed, wishing Faiz all the best in the second round of voting.
Faiz’s free kick during a Super League match between Penang and Pahang in February is deemed to have “defied the laws of physics” that it even became a top pick of the international media, as quoted by The Independent: “The strike by Faiz Subri will be hard to top when it comes to the goal of the year award”.
