8 Dec – Philippine's betJannie Loudette Vicencio Alipo-on has recently won the title of Miss Tourism International 2017.
As reported on GMA, the beauty queen succeeded last year's winner, New Zealand beauty Ariel Pearse as the new Miss Tourism International at the event held in Johor, Malaysia on 6 December.
In addition, Alipo-on also won the Miss Gintell Wellness special award.
Other winners are Miss Tourism Global 2017 (Australia), Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International 2017 (Indonesia), Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2017 (Poland), Dreamgirl of the Year International 2017 (Brazil), and Miss South East Asia 2017 (Thailand).
Alipo-on is the fourth Filipina to win the crown, following Maria Esperanza Manzano (2000), Rizzini Gomez (2012), and Angeli Dione Gomez (2013).
